Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) in Florida is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to defend our systems, applications, and cloud infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, IS or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity, security operations, cloud security, or related role.
• Hands-on experience securing and monitoring Microsoft Azure environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud security technologies: Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, RBAC, MFA, CA, Key Vault, Azure Networking, logging, monitoring.
• Experience with Vanta or similar GRC automation platforms; Vanta experience preferred.
• Experience with application and vulnerability security tools like Aikido Security, Snyk, GitHub Advanced Security; Aikido preferred.
• Vulnerability management: risk assessment, remediation coordination, validation.
• Understanding of SAST, SCA, secrets detection, IaC security, container security, cloud misconfig.
• IAM concepts: least-privilege, zerotrust, privileged access management.
• Experience investigating security alerts and incident response.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, ISO 27001/NIST/CIS frameworks.
• Networking fundamentals and cloud/network security.
• SIEM technologies, security logging and threat detection.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python, APIs, or Microsoft Graph.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day administration and improvement of security platforms (Vanta, Aikido Security).
• Monitor threats, investigate findings, coordinate remediation, and assist incident response.
• Maintain compliance platforms, evidence, policies, and remediation artifacts.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft security technologies (Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Policy, Monitor, Sentinel).
• Review findings, assess risk, prioritize remediation, verify resolution.
• Coordinate security remediations with development, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and other teams.
• Support least-privilege access and secure application identities.
• Monitor alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and participate in post-incident improvements.
• Assist with audits and vendor/security questionnaires; maintain evidence.
