Job summary

Sunwest Bank is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate our cloud platforms with Azure as the primary enterprise cloud and AWS for select initiatives. This hands-on role focuses on IaC, landing zones, automation, and CI/CD to enable secure, scalable delivery of banking technology.

Based onsite in Draper, Utah, you will partner with product and engineering teams, comply with security and regulatory requirements, and contribute to platform modernization and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS.
• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years in Azure production environments.
• Experience with cloud governance, security, and identity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure and IaC.
• Develop automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Migrate and modernize cloud resources for scalable deployments.
• Support AWS environments for select initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security teams.
