Job summary

GMV is seeking an experienced DevOps/Infrastructure engineer in the US transit division to lead the migration of on-prem infrastructure to Azure cloud. You will shape the migration design and guide the execution while maintaining the current colocation setup until completion.

The role emphasizes networking, security, automation, and Kubernetes familiarity, with opportunities to broaden into full platform ownership and enterprise-scale solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in networking, systems, or infrastructure engineering for production environments.
• Hands-on experience building site-to-site and point-to-site VPNs.
• Strong network security fundamentals: firewalls, NSGs, ACLs, segmentation, and cert management.
• Excellent troubleshooting across full stack, from physical to application.
• Scripting and automation ability.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containers, and eagerness to deepen.
• Excellent communication with customer IT/security teams.
• Interest in growing to full platform ownership.
• Support of legacy on-prem infrastructure through migration.
• AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer Associate certification or ability to pass.

Responsibilities

• Migrate infrastructure to the cloud, influencing migration design and execution.
• Maintain stability of current colocation environment during migration.
• Solution customer infrastructure requirements and drive platform improvements.
• Keep systems running smoothly and scalable as the environment grows.
