Job summary

Deloitte Global is seeking an experienced Azure-focused Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Azure services, while enforcing security, scalability, and compliance across global deployments.

The role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to Azure AI services and robust DevOps practices. On-site work in a fast-paced, global professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 3+ years of Azure experience incl. architecture, configuration, and management.
• Familiarity with Azure services: VMs, App Services, Storage, AKS, Databases, Network.
• Strong experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-400 preferred.
• Full stack development experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure services with security, scalability, and availability in mind.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Configure Azure VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for performance, security, reliability and cost.
• Manage identity with Entra ID and RBAC.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation.
• Automate tasks with Azure Automation; build Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide support for cloud-based apps and infrastructure; troubleshoot Windows/Linux VMs.
• Integrate cloud platforms with other cloud systems for data consistency.
• Participate in assessments and audits to ensure deployment compliance.
• Ensure SLAs for operational activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor Azure solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay updated on emerging Azure services and integrate where applicable.
• Use GitHub for DevOps version control.
• Leverage Azure AI services like OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Foundry with core infra.
