Job summary

BVG & Company is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer II to design, implement, and secure cloud and hybrid network infrastructure in support of the NEST Communications Program. The role emphasizes Azure engineering, network security, automation, and compliance for government systems.

Ideal candidates will have active DOE Q/Top Secret eligibility, hands-on Azure experience, infrastructure as code skills, and the ability to operate in a national-security environment while ensuring mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, network engineering, systems administration, cybersecurity, or related information technology disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, secure, automate and sustain cloud and hybrid network infrastructure.
• Support Microsoft Azure engineering and Azure Government environments for National security missions.
• Collaborate on disaster recovery, backups, and automated recovery processes.
