Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an Azure Cloud Operations Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, and scalability for enterprise applications across teams.

You will deploy resources with IaC (Terraform), collaborate with DevOps and security teams, migrate client data, and optimize costs. Azure Administrator certification is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Azure infrastructure, services, and administration.
• Terraform expertise preferred; not required.
• SQL Server IaaS and PaaS experience a plus.
• Secure cloud deployments and cost management awareness.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cloud migration projects is a plus.
• Team player capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage cloud resources in Azure.
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance of Azure infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and cyber teams.
• Migrate client data securely to Azure.
• Implement IaC using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to incidents.
• Contribute to automation and orchestration efforts.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server IaaS and PaaS setups.
• Provide after-hours support in rotation.
• Enroll VMs and SQL databases into backup centers.
• Familiarity with Azure Site Recovery and DR planning.
• Understand Azure Cost Management and cost-saving measures.
• Work with Windows Server administration and event logs.
