Job summary

Independent Software, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Azure Cloud Engineer to help implement, maintain, and support cloud solutions in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. You will gain hands-on experience under senior staff guidance.

You will contribute to cloud operations, migrations, documentation, and security compliance while developing foundational skills in cloud administration and support within a mission-focused team.

Qualifications

• At least one current Microsoft Azure certification.
• Active TS SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily Azure and Microsoft 365 operations, including user provisioning, mailbox management, and system monitoring.
• Assist with deploying and configuring Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
• Support Microsoft 365 tenant setup, licensing, and basic configuration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Participate in cloud migration projects, including file server migrations to SharePoint Online and on-premises systems to Azure.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of connectivity, permissions, and application issues within Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and support guides.
• Work alongside senior technical staff to ensure cloud environments comply with organizational policies and security standards.

As an Entry-Level Azure Cloud Engineer at Independent Software, you will assist with implementing, maintaining, and supporting cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. You will work under the guidance of senior technical staff, gaining hands-on experience with cloud administration, system migrations, troubleshooting, and day-to-day cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily Azure and Microsoft 365 operations, including user provisioning, mailbox management, and system monitoring.
• Assist with deploying and configuring Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
• Support Microsoft 365 tenant setup, licensing, and basic configuration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
