Job summary

IPTA Technology Solutions in Fort Eustis, VA seeks a cloud engineer to build and secure the Army Data Science Environment, enabling data scientists to deploy AI/ML models and analytics.

You will automate infrastructure with IaC (Terraform, ARM/Bicep), manage Docker and Kubernetes workloads, and implement DevSecOps with security scanning and compliance capabilities. Requires a Bachelor's, 3+ years in Azure, active clearance, and DoD cloud experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps.
Experience deploying on Microsoft Azure with IaC.
Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes and CI/CD.
Knowledge of secure cloud architecture and DoD environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and improve the secure cloud platform powering the Army's Data Science Environment (DSE).
Enable data scientists and analytics teams to rapidly deploy AI/ML models and analytics tools.
Automate cloud infrastructure and platform services using DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of enterprise data and analytics platforms.
