Job summary

Artha seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer to own production workloads in Azure for a global SaaS portfolio. You will ensure reliability, security, and performance of containerized services, PostgreSQL, and AI workloads across development stages.

Remote, with responsibilities including Terraform IaC, CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and monitoring/observability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights; collaborate with engineers to drive availability and cost governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience operating enterprise workloads in Microsoft Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with containerized apps (Azure Container Apps) and managed databases (Azure PostgreSQL).
• Experience with observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• Scripting in Bash/PowerShell/Python for automation and health checks.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure cloud infrastructure across dev, QA, staging, and production environments (Container Apps, PostgreSQL, Service Bus, etc.).
• Develop and maintain modular IaC with Terraform, manage state and drift remediation.
• Build and troubleshoot CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions with release gates and secret protections.
• Monitor health, latency, quotas, token usage, and costs for Azure AI services (Foundry, Speech-to-Text).
• Implement observability and alerts using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; define SLIs/SLOs.
• Drive incident response, root-cause analysis, runbooks, DR strategies, and security compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
