E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a motivated Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Washington, DC team as a full-time employee. You will design, implement, and operate Azure-based infrastructure while driving modernization through IaC, scripting, and DevOps practices.

The role emphasizes security remediation, governance, and collaboration across development and operations teams. The ideal candidate has extensive Azure experience, strong automation skills with PowerShell and ARM templates, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance required by contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong proficiency with Azure services, automation, and IaC (PowerShell and ARM templates; Terraform or Ansible is a plus).
• Experience with cloud security remediation, compliance, and governance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure including compute, network, and storage.
• Modernize infrastructure repo by codifying unmanaged Azure resources via IaC (PowerShell).
• Automate deployments and operational workflows with IaC tools and scripting.
• Analyze and remediate Azure scan findings to meet security and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide Azure best-practice guidance.

Position Overview

E-INFOSOL is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role combines Azure architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps automation, and security remediation. You will work closely with development and operations teams to modernize infrastructure, strengthen security posture, and support key migration efforts.

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure, including compute, network, and storage services.
• Modernize the infrastructure repository by bringing unmanaged Azure resources into source control and refactoring Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily PowerShell.
• Automate deployments and operational workflows using IaC tools and scripting.
• Analyze and remediate Azure scan findings, focusing on critical and high-priority issues to meet security and compliance standards.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance on Azure best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance meet contract requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong proficiency with Azure services, automation, and IaC (PowerShell and ARM templates; Terraform or Ansible a plus).
• Experience with cloud security remediation, compliance, and governance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hybrid cloud, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and advanced networking.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
