Job summary

Everforth Apex in Reston, VA is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join a DevSecOps team focused on secure cloud development, testing, and production environments for national security missions onsite. This role requires heavy collaboration with software teams and adherence to security governance.

You will design, deploy, operate, and maintain Azure-based cloud products, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment scripts, while guiding agile DevSecOps practices and driving automation improvements

• Provide source control management, create automated CI build processes, and write build and deploy scripts.
• Support the integration, operation, change management, and maintenance of CI/CD tools, including the automation of testing.
• Uphold policies, standards, and governance for CI/CD operations and developer workflows.
• Facilitate release management by moving code from development and testing to staging and production environments.
• Collaborate with software developers and other teams to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud platforms.
• Provide guidance on agile and DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery.
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
