Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Cloud Developer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role emphasizes IaC, DevOps automation, and cloud security to modernize infrastructure and drive migration efforts.

You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to optimize performance, reliability, and cost. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in cloud engineering are required, along with an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure services (compute, storage, networking, governance).
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible).
• Experience automating cloud environments and operational workflows.
• Cloud security remediation, compliance risk management, and governance experience.
• Hands-on experience with Git-based version-controlled infrastructure management.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure with high availability and scalability.
• Migrate unmanaged Azure resources into source control and refactor IaC configurations (PowerShell focus).
• Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines and operational workflows.
• Analyze Azure vulnerabilities and remediation of findings to meet security/compliance.
