Job summary

SBT Global, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer in Irvine, CA to design, implement, and manage Azure-based data platforms supporting enterprise reporting and analytics.

You will work with business analysts, Power BI developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, scalable data solutions. Responsibilities include ETL/ELT pipeline development, data warehousing, data modeling, and automation of data processes.

Qualifications

• SQL, Data modeling, ETL/ELT, Data warehousing
• Star Schema / Dimensional Modeling
• Experience with Azure Cloud platforms (3+ years)
• Experience with Power BI environments
• Experience migrating on-premises systems to Azure

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows.
• Develop and optimize data storage solutions including data warehouses and data lakes.
• Collaborate with analysts and BI developers and DBAs to ensure secure, scalable data platforms.
• Implement automated batch and real-time data integration processes.
• Configure networking, security, and access controls for data platforms.
