Job summary

A tech company in Natick, Massachusetts is searching for a Technical Architect to lead efforts in rearchitecting monolithic applications into Microservices architecture. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in containerization with Docker, as well as in-depth knowledge of Microservices architecture patterns. Job description

• Solid experience as a Technical Architect, leading the rearchitecting of monolithic applications into Microservices architecture.
• Strong expertise in containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of Microservices architecture patterns, principles, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform, including Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes service (AKS) and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot framework for Microservices development.
• Strong understanding of J2EE technologies and frameworks.

Skill

• Overall 15+ years of experience working in IT and at least 5-7 years of experience building cloud architecture with Azure and Microservices.
• Expertise in: MS Azure cloud, API design & management, Java, Kubernetes, database systems, and serverless computing
• Experience building cloud native solutions in a green field environment and modernizing brown field solutions in an enterprise setting.
• Experience in implementing containerized solutions using Dockers and Azure Kubernetes Service
• Experience in integration solutions using Kafka / Event Grid
