Job summary
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey seeks a Senior Cloud Architect & Program Manager to define and execute its cloud strategy, architect scalable Azure solutions, and drive major modernization initiatives from concept through delivery. This role bridges enterprise architecture, project delivery, and cross-functional leadership with business and engineering teams.
Responsibilities include governance, cost optimization, and leading Azure migrations, hybrid cloud integrations, and DevOps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience, with at least 5 years in Azure architecture or cloud leadership roles.
- Proven track record managing multiple, complex enterprise-level technology projects with cross-organizational stakeholders.
- Experience developing program and project strategies with impact on diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the organization's cloud strategy and long-term architectural roadmap.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Lead cloud architecture decisions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks for Azure environments.
