Job summary

First American seeks an Azure Architect to design and oversee Azure-based solutions for enterprise apps, data, and infrastructure in Fort Mill, SC. You’ll lead cloud strategy, implement scalable, secure designs, and drive DevOps adoption with IaC and automation.

The role requires Azure Administration expertise, strong scripting skills, and certifications. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; 5+ years IT experience.
• 3+ years specializing in Azure administration and Bicep usage.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate required; Azure Architect Expert preferred.
• Proficient with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based architectures for enterprise apps, data, and infrastructure.
• Lead adoption of Azure best practices, governance, and security controls.
• Collaborate with developers, operations, and security teams to define roadmaps.
• Plan cloud migrations, DR/BC, and performance optimization.
• Develop automation scripts and templates for provisioning and management.
