Job summary

FTS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize an enterprise Azure environment for a Roswell, GA manufacturing setting.

The role combines hands-on cloud engineering with governance and security oversight to support plant systems, ERP, and enterprise apps. You will partner with IT, engineering, and operations to modernize infrastructure, establish landing zones, and ensure high availability and DR across production-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT.
• 8+ years in cloud/infrastructure engineering with 4+ years in cloud architecture.
• Deep Azure expertise: Landing Zones, networking, IAM, AKS, Monitor.
• Strong IaC (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
• Experience with high availability, DR, and production readiness.
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise Azure architecture including landing zones and networking.
• Lead migration of on-premises and legacy systems to Azure.
• Architect for high availability, DR, and business continuity in production environments.
• Establish cloud security standards (IAM, Key Vault, NSGs, compliance).
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations to modernize plant systems.
• Implement IaC (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) and CI/CD pipelines.
