Job summary

Deloitte Global is seeking a Senior Manager, Azure Cloud Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud solutions across global environments. You will steer Azure architecture, security, governance, and automated release management, partnering with business and technology teams to drive modernization and secure, scalable delivery.

The role requires strong technical leadership, strategic thinking, and experience delivering cloud initiatives in a global context.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive IT experience with senior-level architecture and leadership roles.
5+ years architecting and delivering enterprise Azure cloud solutions across governance, security, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, container platforms, and IaC (Management Groups, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, AKS, Azure Monitor, Bicep/ARM).
Experience managing large, complex Azure environments across multiple global regions.
Strong understanding of Azure Enterprise Agreement billing, including billing analysis and reporting.
Experience implementing CI/CD practices and working with DevOps and release management tools.
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, load balancing, and network security.

Responsibilities

Define cloud architecture standards and solutions across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
Serve as the subject matter expert for Azure cloud architecture, leveraging deep knowledge of IaaS and PaaS services to design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security, compliance, governance, and operational standards.
Lead the design and evolution of automated DevOps and release management pipelines supporting application development and production operations.
Promote and champion CI/CD practices across development teams.
