Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 to join our Hartford, CT based team. The role focuses on incident resolution, infrastructure assessments, scalable design, deployment coordination, and security compliance across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will work with onsite and offshore teams, to document requirements and develop knowledge repositories while delivering cost-efficient, reliable IT infrastructure solutions that align with client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Relocation and travel may be required.
• Experience configuring FortiGate, VPN, and proxy settings.
• Experience with cloud security solutions (AWS/Azure) required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents with internal and client teams; conduct root cause analyses and document preventive recommendations.
• Assess client IT infrastructure and prepare actionable reports; support due diligence for maturity improvements.
• Contribute to scalable IT infrastructure designs and document deployed systems.
• Coordinate deployments and release schedules; perform post-deployment testing and manage version control.
• Coordinate maintenance, emergency fixes, and upgrades to ensure uninterrupted integration.
• Perform security checks, recovery drills, and audits; implement security measures and continuity plans.
• Document project requirements and coordinate with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams.
• Develop centralized knowledge repositories leveraging insights from other projects.
