Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking an Azure Architect in Waukegan, IL to lead API integration strategy for complex enterprise environments. You will architect and govern API programs, design secure Azure-based integrations, and drive scalable, resilient microservices using APIM, OAuth, and Azure services.

Responsibilities include implementing policies, automating deployments with Azure DevOps, and ensuring compliance across Azure landscapes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience in Integration/API Architecture.
• Expertise in designing and implementing API governance, security, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Establish API governance standards, lifecycle management, and security best practices.
• Develop APIM policies including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, transformation, caching, and routing.
• Design secure integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and other Azure Integration Services.
• Implement enterprise authentication using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Azure Entra ID.
• Build scalable, highly available, and secure microservices-based integration architectures.
• Automate deployments using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates).
• Collaborate with cloud, application, infrastructure, and security teams to define API strategies and integration standards.
• Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize API gateway configurations.
• Ensure enterprise compliance, governance, and security standards across Azure environments.
