Job summary

Mindlance is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to guide the design of scalable, secure systems in a hybrid work model in Washington, DC. You will lead architecture decisions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years IT experience, 5+ years in architect roles, strong Azure expertise, and hands‑on background in .NET or Python backend services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience with 5+ years in Architect/Lead Architect roles.
• Strong Azure Cloud and collaboration with infrastructure teams.
• Backend development experience with .NET and/or Python.
• Proven experience leading support projects and driving POCs.

Job description

Work Model: Hybrid - 4 days onsite per week from Day 1

Scope of Work

Technical Leadership

• Provide visionary technical guidance and leadership for the architecture and design of enterprise solutions.
• Design scalable, robust, and secure architectures for complex enterprise systems.
• Develop architecture frameworks, patterns, and best practices to guide development activities.
• Build and maintain architecture roadmaps and project plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural components.

Technical Expertise

• 15+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in an Architect / Lead Architect role.
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud, working closely with cloud provisioning and infrastructure teams for environment setup and optimization.
• Strong background in software development with deep expertise in .NET and/or Python for backend systems.
• Proven experience leading support projects, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience running POCs, evaluating new technologies, and translating business requirements into scalable architectures.
