Azure Application Architect

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in application development, modernization, and cloud migration.
• Strong expertise in Azure PaaS services including App Services, Functions, AKS, and Container Instances.
• Proven experience migrating and modernizing legacy applications to Azure.
• Skilled in IIS hosting, application architecture, dependency analysis, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and Azure Landing Zone design.
• Strong leadership experience managing teams of 5+ engineers.
• Should be able to guide the team technically.
• Excellent stakeholder management, solution design, and customer-facing communication skills.

Primary Skills

• Hands-on experience developing and supporting enterprise web applications.
• Strong expertise in designing, deploying, and managing applications on Azure PaaS platforms.
• Solid database knowledge, including connectivity, configuration, and integration management.
• Ability to assess and analyze application dependencies and infrastructure requirements.
• Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration teams to drive cloud adoption and governance.
• Proficient in containerizing web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and best practices for hosting containerized applications.
• Experience conducting application performance assessments before and after migration.
