Infosys is seeking an Azure and Databricks Cloud Data Engineer. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions, and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the field can be considered in lieu of every year of formal education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of projects in Azure, Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices.
• Strong understanding of Data structures, Data Engineering concepts, Algorithms, Collections, Multi-threading, memory management, and concurrency.
• Experience in large-scale cloud data migrations using Databricks, Python, Spark, SQL.
• Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
• Experience in Banking/Financial domain.
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in diverse, multi-stakeholder environments involving Business and Technology teams.
• Experience and interest in working in a global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Communication by telephone, email, or face-to-face may be required. Travel may also be necessary.
