Job summary

Smartsoft International Inc. seeks an Azure AI Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and manage AI-powered cloud applications for enterprise clients in Johns Creek, GA.

You will own application development and collaborate with internal teams on design and build activities, while coordinating directly with customer-side Azure teams during delivery. Responsibilities include implementing Azure AI Search, OpenAI services, and RAG patterns, leveraging Terraform for IaC, building Power Automate

Qualifications

Job description

We're hiring an Azure AI Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and manage AI-powered cloud applications for enterprise clients. This role owns application development, works closely with the internal development team on design and build activities, and coordinates directly with customer-side Azure teams through delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure application development: App Service, Azure Functions, Data Lake Storage, Key Vault, VNet/private endpoint configurations
• Working knowledge of Azure AI Search and Azure OpenAI Service (embeddings, RAG patterns, semantic/vector search)
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and Azure resource deployment
• Experience developing Power Automate flows and Microsoft Copilot Studio agents/chatbots
• Experience building or orchestrating AI agents (LLM-based reasoning, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation)
• Strong knowledge of OData and REST-based web services (design, consumption, and integration)
• Experience with document intelligence/OCR pipelines and structured data extraction
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Graph API for SharePoint/M365 integrations
• Familiarity with Entra ID authentication/authorization and role-based access control
• Ability to coordinate design and development activities with both internal dev teams and customer-side Azure/cloud teams

Nice to Have

• Preferable but Not Mandatory: Working knowledge of SAP BTP integration patterns and connecting BTP services with Azure-based platforms, and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA systems
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub-based workflows, and enterprise change management processes
• Prior exposure to multi-module, phased platform delivery in a regulated enterprise environment
