Job summary

SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. seeks an experienced AI Architect to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role involves hands-on architecture, DL/NLP, Generative AI, Python, PySpark, Spark, and MLOps, with leadership across project lifecycles.

You will oversee model development, training, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization, collaborating with clients and engineering teams to deliver robust AI capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering or architecture role with enterprise AI/ML leadership.
• At least one major AI solution deployed on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience managing full lifecycle of multiple AI/ML models including deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, production-ready AI/ML architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
• Lead end-to-end AI projects from design to deployment and operations.
• Develop and optimize ML/DL/NLP/Generative AI solutions.
• Build data pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, and feature engineering with Python, PySpark, Spark, and SQL.
• Implement MLOps practices including versioning, automated deployment, monitoring, retraining, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI models with enterprise apps, APIs, databases, and existing systems.
• Set up CI/CD workflows and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor production models for performance, data drift, and operational issues.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentoring to teams.
