MMI Industrial & Steel in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking experienced ironworkers to join our Amkor Project in Peoria, AZ. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in ironworking and welding and can read blueprints, lay out and erect structural steel.

Candidates must pass a drug test, be able to work overtime, nights and weekends, and bring their own tools. We offer comprehensive benefits and profit sharing, with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of ironworking and welding experience.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Layout, bolt up and erect structural steel.
• Own tools and equipment; overtime, nights and weekends possible.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Layout, bolt up, connect and erect structural steel.
• Install steel stairs, railings, fences and misc metals.
• Follow safety guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Operate crane hoisting, rigging and signaling; welding and grinding.
• Welding, torch cutting, arc gouging and grinding.
• Climb and balance on ladders or high structures; work outdoors.
• Lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Work overtime, nights and weekends as workload requires.
