Position Overview
This Market Development Specialist supports membership growth and brand awareness initiatives as part of Verda Healthcare, Inc. The person develops relationships with community organizations, providers, and referral partners while coordinating marketing campaigns, outreach events, and lead‑generation activities that drive enrollment and member engagement.
This position reports to the Associate Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, provider offices, brokers, and local organizations to support membership growth
- Coordinate and participate in community outreach events, health fairs, educational seminars, and grassroots marketing initiatives
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across print, digital, and field channels
- Track leads, referrals, and outreach activity using CRM tools and prepare weekly performance reports
- Collaborate with compliance to ensure marketing materials meet CMS and regulatory guidelines
- Support creation and distribution of marketing materials, presentations, and enrollment resources
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Provide follow‑up communication with prospects and community partners
- Assist with internal communications and brand initiatives
- Represent the organization professionally in the community and at partner meetings
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, outreach, or community engagement
- Experience in healthcare, Medicare Advantage, insurance, or regulated industries preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Schedule
- Full‑time onsite (100% in‑office)
- Hours of operations: 9am – 6pm
- Standard business hours Monday to Friday/weekends as needed
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings and training sessions.
