Job description

Title - Axiom Developer

Location - Remote

Duration - Long Term Contract

Project Overview:

• Global Regulatory system is a regulatory reporting project using an on-premise vended product from Adenza (Axiom SL). The scope includes regulatory reporting requirements across APAC, EMEA, and NA regions. APAC & NA instances have been live in production for over a year, with current focus on implementing EMEA regulatory reports in Axiom SL.

Contractor's Role:

• Participate in development activities across various projects in the Axiom space.
• Support BAU activities such as patch updates and enhancements for regular filings.

Qualifications (must haves):

• 8-10 years of experience as an IT developer.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Axiom Controller View.
• Knowledge of regulatory & risk reporting modules in Axiom (Prime reports, CCAR, SCCL, FR2052a, etc.).
• Experience with financial and reporting data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams and provide walkthroughs.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Create Axiom objects such as Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, and Aggregations.
• Configure reports and automate workflows within Axiom.
• Configure APAC (Singapore, Australia) and EMEA regulatory reports; experience with US reports (FFIEC series) is a plus.
• Develop ETL jobs, shell scripts, and technical specifications.
• Support database coding with PL SQL and perform performance tuning.
• Prepare and execute detailed unit test cases.
• Manage migration of Axiom components across environments.
• Understand functional documents and collaborate with BA/Users for report development.
• Experience in Regulatory Reporting and Data Warehousing.
