Job summary

Pegasus Knowledge Solutions, Inc. is seeking an AXA Developer for a 6–12 month contract. The role supports Infor XA and WMS environments, with hybrid work requirements (2 days in Chicago office) and remote flexibility as needed.

The candidate will work with Project Management and Business Analysts to define plans, implement scalable solutions, and ensure stable operation of IBM iSeries interfaces. Experience with Infor XA 9.2 (MAPICS) and related customizations is required.

• WMS experience and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMs and BAs to understand requirements and design work plans for design, build, and deployment phases.
• Implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.
• Support IBM iSeries and interfaced applications to ensure continuous operation.
• Oversee troubleshooting and problem resolution within the application stack.
• Prepare conversion plans, testing plans, and technical documentation for new and existing apps.

Required Skills:

• Infor XA experience - Application system support for Infor

Job details:

Candidate is expected to work closely with Project Management/Business Analysts to understand requirements and Develop work plans for design, construction, and implementation phases of application development projects.

Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance and system performance.

Support IBM iSeries and interfaced applications to insure efficient, uninterrupted operation of the system.

Oversee application troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Application system support includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Infor XA 9.2(MAPICS) and all custom developed enhancements.
• Infor WMS

Responsibilities will include; Secure FTP, Unit and system testing plans, Conversion planning, User training and producing technical documentation for new and existing applications.
