Job summary

True Zero Technologies is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional with 5+ years in EUC/VDI to design and manage robust virtual desktop environments in a US-facing setting.

You will connect AWS WorkSpaces to AD/IDPs, enforce security via MFA and KMS, monitor uptime, automate patching, and optimize costs. The role also covers encryption-at-rest, streaming protocol security, and application delivery design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, EUC or VDI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
• Strong grasp of core AWS services (VPC, IAM, KMS, Directory Service, CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, Direct Connect, and streaming protocols like PCoIP or DCV.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or AWS CLI for bulk user provisioning and management.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale virtual desktop solutions, choosing Windows/Linux OS bundles and configuring compute/storage.
• Connect AWS WorkSpaces to Active Directory (Simple AD, Managed Microsoft AD, or on-premises AD) and identity providers.
• Enforce security policies, MFA, AWS KMS encryption, and network access rules via VPCs.
• Monitor system uptime, automate patching with AWS Systems Manager, troubleshoot connections and optimize costs (hourly or monthly).
• Implement MFA and SAML 2.0 federation with IdPs (Okta, Ping, Microsoft Entra ID).
• Enforce encryption-at-rest using AWS KMS for root and user volumes; ensure streaming protocol security (PCoIP, DCV).
• Design and manage application packaging and delivery solutions (WAM, AppStream 2.0, policy-based deployments).

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, End User Computing (EUC), or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong grasp of core AWS services (VPC, IAM, KMS, Directory Service, CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, Direct Connect, and streaming protocols like PCoIP or DCV.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or AWS CLI for bulk user provisioning and management
