Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Technology Auditor to perform assessments of AWS, diving into internal architectures to evaluate risks and security posture. You will guide planning and reporting on security controls, data protection, and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a strong background in technology risk, IT security audits, and excellent communication with business leaders. Travel up to 10% may be required, including international trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience with technology risk, IT security audit, compliance and/or relevant regulatory knowledge.
• Professional auditing qualification or security credentials (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM).
• Experience with SQL and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into complex architectures, identify risks, and ensure AWS services are designed and operated securely.
• Support planning, scoping, execution, and reporting based on identified risks across IAM, key management, data security/privacy, monitoring, release management, and service availability.
• Provide independent, objective input to help service teams improve controls, mitigate risks, and enhance operational performance.
