Job summary

CACI is seeking an AWS System Administrator to manage enterprise AWS infrastructure and Linux/RHEL environments in a DoD-focused setting. The role emphasizes security, performance, and reliability across multiple domains, with TS/SCI clearance and DoD certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance (polygraph within 6 months).
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (IT/IS/CS).
• DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II certification.
• Hands-on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience.
• Linux shell scripting, user management, networking, and services.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and manage AWS resources (EC2, EBS, VPCs, IAM).
• Administer Linux/RHEL systems, updates, patches, and performance tuning.
• Monitor performance metrics, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce security practices, access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Automate tasks with Python/Bash and AWS tools (CLI, CloudFormation).
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to AWS, Linux, and applications.
• Back up and recover AWS resources; stay current with AWS services.
