Zenith Services Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to lead an OpenShift-to-AWS EKS migration in Michigan. You will apply deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise to assess current workloads, design the target architecture, and guide the team through implementation.

You will mentor engineers, identify risks, optimize cloud networking, security, and CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliable production operations during the migration.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of cloud/infrastructure experience with strong AWS skills.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience migrating workloads from OpenShift to AWS EKS or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS networking (VPC/IAM), DNS, security, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, and Argo CD.
• Ability to define target architecture and guide implementation.
• Strong troubleshooting for production and performance issues.
• Mentor the team to become proficient with AWS independently.

Looking for an AWS Solutions Architect to help us with our OpenShift-to-AWS EKS migration.

The person should have strong hands-on AWS and Kubernetes experience and be able to guide our existing team through the migration.

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of cloud/infrastructure experience with strong AWS skills.
• Good hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience migrating workloads from OpenShift to AWS EKS or similar Kubernetes platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS networking, VPC, IAM, DNS, certificates, security, load balancing, and monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, and Argo CD.
• Ability to define the target architecture, identify risks, and guide the team through implementation.
• Good troubleshooting skills, especially for production issues and performance problems.
• Ability to mentor the team and help them become comfortable working with AWS independently.

Experience with IBM App Connect, API Connect, MQ, and ITX would be a plus.
