Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience, incl. 3+ years with AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC), plus Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Terraform and scripting experience; expertise with enterprise observability platforms.
• Banking or FinTech experience with high-concurrency transactions, payment gateways, or core banking systems.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain availability, scalability, and security by defining SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets; support multi-AZ and multi-region resilience.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation and maintain microservices on EKS and Kubernetes.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Reduce operational toil with Python, Go, or Bash automation.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines through automated testing and blue/green deployments.
• Participate in on-call support; troubleshoot production incidents, minimize recovery time, and lead blameless postmortems and root-cause analyses.
• Help enforce cloud security controls (IAM, KMS, VPC PrivateLink) aligned with PCI-DSS and SOC 2.
