Job summary

Quevera is seeking an AWS Serverless Software Engineer to join our Herndon-based team. The role emphasizes Python-based AWS Lambda microservices, secure serverless architectures, and data movement across isolated networks, with access to restricted environments as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and has hands-on experience with AWS CDK, IaC, and cross-domain deployments, delivering observable, reliable services.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and AWS Lambda.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience with cross-domain and isolated-network deployments.
• Knowledge of AWS CDK and IaC practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD using GitLab.
• Experience with secure CDK constructs and least-privilege design.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (EventBridge, SQS, SNS).
• Networking in AWS (VPCs, subnets, endpoints) and security groups.

Responsibilities

• Build Python AWS Lambda microservices for data movement.
• Develop and deploy AWS cloud architectures with CDK (TypeScript).
• Support cross-fabric deployments with secure IAM policies.
• Implement observability with CloudWatch and synthetic monitoring.
• Access isolated networks as required.
