Job summary

North Point Technology is hiring a Systems Engineering Architect located in Chantilly, Virginia. The successful candidate must hold an active Top Secret security clearance and will work closely with technical leadership to design AWS Resiliency and Recovery capabilities. Key responsibilities include analyzing system architecture and improving resiliency, as well as maintaining the system architecture roadmap.

Experience with AWS architecture and managing cloud infrastructure is essential, along with strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include various technical certifications and experience in related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current system architecture and dependencies from a full-stack perspective.
• Identify opportunities to improve availability and resiliency.
• Own the system architecture roadmap and backlog in alignment with the customer's technology strategy.
• Decompose requirements into epics and features.
• Execute analysis of alternatives (AoA) and prototypes.
• Maintain requirements and interface control documents.
• Communicate architectural decisions and strategies.
