Job summary

Systemone is seeking an AWS Python- GenAI Developer to design cloud-native apps, automation, and enterprise integrations for a large Workday SaaS deployment.

The role is hands-on, focusing on AWS, Python, Java, SQL, automation, and AI-enabled development, building scalable, reliable production services.

Qualifications

Job Title: AWS Python- GenAI Developer

Duration: Full Time / Permanent Position

Location: Birmingham, AL, Knoxville, TN, Columbia, SC or Lafayette, LA.

Work Mode: 5 Days Onsite

Systemone is seeking a AWS Python- GenAI Developer to develop and support cloud native applications, automation capabilities, and enterprise integrations supporting a large scale Workday SaaS implementation within the financial services industry.

Your future duties and responsibilities

This is a hands on engineering role with a strong emphasis on AWS, Python, Java, SQL, automation, and AI enabled development. The engineer will build and enhance data driven applications and integrations, develop automation that improves delivery and operational reliability, and support production applications and complex technical issues.

The role will also contribute to LLM based and AI enabled engineering capabilities, working alongside technical and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions in an enterprise AWS environment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 5+ years of hands on software engineering experience with Python and Java.
• Experience developing and supporting applications using AWS native services.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills with experience working on data driven applications.
• Experience building cloud native applications, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Hands on experience developing automation to improve deployment, operational, or engineering processes.
• Experience integrating LLMs or generative AI capabilities into applications or engineering workflows.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and GitHub for source control and development workflows.
• Strong understanding of application integration, data flows, and distributed systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications, including complex application and integration issues.
• Ability to work effectively across engineering, cloud, data, and application teams in a large enterprise environment.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
