Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a networking expert in the Parsippany-Troy Hills area, experienced in creating and managing AWS VPCs, subnets, and network security. The ideal candidate has over five years of hands-on experience with DNS services, traffic flow management, and AWS Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation. Strong communication skills to liaise with non-technical stakeholders are necessary for this challenging role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in creating and managing VPCs, subnets, route tables, and Security Groups.
• Proficiency in managing DNS Services and traffic flow.
• Ability to design and manage hub-and-spoke network topologies for multi VPC connectivity.
• Experience with Argo CD and Jenkins.
• Strong Linux command line experience.
• Ansible for configuration management.
• Container management experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with VPCs, NAT Gateways, VPNs, Aviatrix, Direct Connect.
• Experience with Route53, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, WAF.
• Implement network security controls including SGs, NACLs and encryption protocols.
• Monitor and optimize network performance and troubleshoot latency or availability issues.
• System troubleshooting across platforms and applications.
• Security patching and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Log monitoring and proactive issue resolution.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in creating and managing VPCs, subnets, route tables, Network ACLs, Security Groups and managing DNS Services.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in managing DSN Services, traffic flow and health checks.
• Ability to design and manage hub-and-spoke network topologies for multi VPC and hybrid connectivity.
• Good experience in AWS Infra as a code using terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience with Argo CD, Jenkins
• Good with Linux system commands and processes.
• Ansible based configuration Management
• Containers and their management experience
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Designing and managing VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT Gateways, VPNs, Aviatrix and Direct Connect Links.
• Configuring and managing AWS networking services such as Route53, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, WAF,
• Implement Network Security Controls including security groups, NACLs and encryption protocols.
• Monitor and optimize network performance and troubleshoot latency, connectivity or availability issues.
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
