Accenture Edge for AWS is seeking a Tech Practice Leader – Migration and Modernization to build and lead the practice serving mid‑market to large enterprises. The role owns vision, portfolio, standards, solution architecture, and governance to assess, migrate, modernize, optimize and operate workloads on AWS.

The ideal candidate blends hands‑on AWS architecture credibility with migration‑factory leadership, customer engagement, presales, and delivery governance.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years in cloud architecture, technology consulting, platform engineering, or transformation delivery.
• Eight+ years in hands-on AWS migration, modernization, architecture, engineering, or operations.
• Five+ years leading and scaling a migration or modernization practice with teams of 25–50.
• Accountability for $50M–$100M in annual AWS migration, modernization, managed‑services, or technology‑enabled bookings and revenue.
• Experience solutioning, governing, or delivering at least 15 AWS migrations or modernization engagements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years minimum).

Responsibilities

• Define the migration and modernization strategy, services portfolio, and operating model.
• Lead offerings across discovery, migration planning, landing zones, and data center exits.
• Own bookings and revenue growth by partnering with sales and AWS field teams.
• Act as senior technical sponsor for priority deals and executive presentations.
• Create packaged solutions and marketplace‑ready offers for AWS sellers.
• Develop market demand through campaigns, workshops, and industry plays.
• Represent the practice externally with thought leadership and events.
• Scale migration factories with repeatable assessment, automation, and runbooks.
