Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced AWS-focused Architect to lead mid‑market cloud initiatives, architect reusable reference assets, and guide delivery teams across data, analytics, and AI programs. This role emphasizes hands-on AWS work, architecture reviews, and collaboration with partners to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years hands-on AWS experience, with deep cloud and enterprise networking knowledge.
• Must have hands-on AWS experience with at least 1 implementation and/or migration to AWS.
• Minimum of 4 years scripting capability and ability to develop environments as code (EAC).
• Minimum 1 year of Automation/IAC experience using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, etc.
• Minimum required AWS certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of core AWS platform architecture experience (VPC, subnets, Direct Connect, etc.).
• AWS Cost Management and Optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable Enterprise Cloud Architecture assets and reference templates to accelerate delivery.
• Serve as SME on Mid‑Market AWS solutions during sales pursuits and client engagements.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership during delivery and advise on data platforms and AI implementations.
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure standards, risk posture, and client objectives.
• Author technical whitepapers and solution briefs that showcase Accenture's Cloud Architecture & Data & AI capabilities.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology partners and tooling providers.
• Mentor delivery architects on Enterprise Cloud, Data & AI trends and governance frameworks.
• Establish and evangelize architecture standards and governance across engagements.
• Monitor industry trends and inform investment priorities and strategic positioning.
• Support pursuit teams in estimating effort and shaping statements of work for Cloud Architecture & Data & AI.
