Job description

Our platform processes enormous volumes of data, and we need an AWS Engineer who can keep it fast and resilient. Sized right for 3 years of Apache Kafka, this FL role pays $85,000 - $122,000 and opens a path you actually want to walk.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply PostgreSQL and Microservices to solve builder-led engineering challenges
• Tune PostgreSQL queries until the FL database stops timing out under load
• Carry the Amazon ECS platform work that makes StartupForge's next FL expansion boring
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines for faster release cycles
• Stand up observability so StartupForge sees failures before customers in FL do
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Terraform Associate

What You'll Bring

• Proven leadership experience guiding mid-level-level initiatives
• Fluency across Vault and Communication, with strong opinions on both
• 5 years that taught you which corners can be cut
• A FL sensibility, or genuine curiosity about this market
• Comfort being accountable for a collaborative outcome in a contract role
• Familiarity with the Fort Lauderdale market and local technology landscape

The founders of StartupForge left bigger companies to build something fast-moving in Fort Lauderdale, and technology has been better for it. The StartupForge promise is plain: clear expectations, real autonomy, and zero surprise reviews.

Pair your Terraform Associate with our $85,000 - $122,000, our mentors, our benefits, and our flexible Fort Lauderdale, FL culture, and the math works in your favor.

We bumped this posting hours ago because the role is still very much open.

Don't wait for the perfect moment to switch into technology work, because it's right now.
