Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a software engineer for the Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) Networking team to tackle distributed systems, automation, and large-scale networking challenges.

You will contribute to open source projects like AWS VPC CNI and eBPF based observability, mentor junior engineers, and build new network management software that scales to thousands of nodes daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to open source projects such as AWS VPC CNI, eBPF based network policy, AWS load balancer controller and work on next generation eBPF based network observability and telemetry.
• Grow and mentor junior engineers on the team.
• Tackle unique distributed computing and automation challenges on a large-scale network.
