T-Rex Solutions is looking to select an AWS DevSecOps Engineer to support the US Department of the Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort. This effort aims to facilitate holistic multi-cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP) to meet the Department of Treasury's enterprise-wide infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
• Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
• Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
• Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance.
• Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
  
  

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelors degree and four (4) years or more of related experience or Masters and two (2) or more years of related experience.
• Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in 4 or more of the following areas:
• Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
• Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
• Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
• PowerShell or Bash Scripting
• Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
• Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
• Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
• Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
  

Desired:

• AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate or higher certification
• Active Treasury clearance preferred

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
