Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Alpharetta, GA seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead system operations for a mission-critical application. You will manage DevOps functions across multiple projects, enforce Agile practices, and ensure SOX-compliant security for the Billing system, while monitoring vulnerabilities and driving fixes.

You will configure and maintain application servers, optimize performance, and automate processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years deploying microservices-based apps with Spring Boot in Kubernetes.
• 5+ years in AWS cloud environments.
• 5+ years with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization.
• 5+ years in Cloud environments with CloudFormation, Terraform and YAML.
• Experience in Agile CI/CD driven development.
• 5+ years with Tomcat & Linux/Unix.
• 5+ years with cloud DevOps tools (Git/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins).
• Strong Oracle SQL knowledge and complex query tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytics.
• Effective time management and multi-team collaboration.

Job description

10+ years Responsibilities This position is for IT system and this role primarily is responsible for DevOps engineer for a mission critical application.

The work you will be doing will be part of the team who is responsible for leading large and complex business initiatives based on contractual agreements for Wholesale and delivering best in class customer experience.

Responsible for DevOps functions for multiple projects for enterprise releases and maintenance releases.

You will follow Agile methodology and ensure Security compliance with enterprise standards. Also make sure the Billing System adheres to SOX Audit rules. Monitor security vulnerability reports and Track fixes for reported issues.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain application servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Work on Digital Transformation and modernize the application based on new technologies
• Experience in working with very complex system using micro services architecture using large databases

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• 6 years of Experience in deploying microservices-based applications using Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment.
• 5 plus years of AWS Cloud environment
• 5 years of Experience in working with Kubernetes, managing Kubernetes cluster, Docker, and containerization technologies.
• 5 years of Experience with working in a Cloud environment and experience with cloud formation templates, teraform and yaml scripts.
• Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven development culture
• 5 years of Experience with Tomcat and Linux/Unix
• 5 years of Experience with Cloud and DevOps tools (GIT/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins, etc)
• Good working Knowledge of Oracle Database including reviewing and tuning complex SQL queries
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Time management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed, to collaborate and work with multiple teams.
• Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven development culture

AI-Assisted Development Skills:

Proficiency using modern AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude) to accelerate code generation, debugging, and automated testing.

Generative AI Integration (Plus):

Experience or familiarity with integrating LLM APIs (such as Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or OpenAI) into enterprise Java/Spring Boot microservices.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Working knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ
• Working knowledge of JSON, Camel
• Working knowledge of APIGEE
• Knowledge of Agentic AI and AI Tools

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science or similar.
• 10+ years of Application Development and Technology Experience
