Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer in Chelmsford, MA to own and evolve the infrastructure for cloud-hosted and on-premise enterprise software. Youll work with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, TeamCity, DigitalOcean, Prometheus, Grafana, PostgreSQL, and automation tools to build scalable environments and streamline deployments.

Qualifications

• Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience supporting Docker Swarm deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Experience supporting on-premises software deployments and customer environments.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, Go, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging.
• Experience with load and performance testing tools (k6, JMeter, Locust, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, NATS, or other messaging technologies.
• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing).
• Experience with Git-based version control
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating directly with customers during installations and upgrades.

We are seeking a full-time DevOps Engineer to join their team in Chelmsford, MA.
