Job summary

Oxbridge Health, Inc. in Norwalk, CT is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end infrastructure across AWS, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll build scalable platforms, strengthen security controls, and automate access management in a multi-account environment.

You will work with a small team to implement CDK stacks, monitor production services, and ship internal tooling and dashboards that improve reliability and compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infra engineering.
• Deep, hands-on AWS knowledge including IAM, VPC, and cross-account access.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience; AWS CDK strongly preferred; Terraform/CloudFormation transfers fine.
• Production coding in TypeScript and/or Python.
• CI/CD pipeline ownership with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or equivalent.
• Containers on AWS: ECS or EKS, ECR, and related config.
• Linux administration with shell fluency and journald/systemctl.
• Identity systems: SSO/SAML/OIDC, least privilege in practice.
• Clear written communication in runbooks, PR descriptions, and incident notes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our IaC estate using TypeScript AWS CDK across multiple accounts.
• Own production services including ECS Fargate, Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and more.
• Improve observability with CloudWatch, canaries, logs, and alerting that actually pages on-call.
• Automate security and compliance with SCPs, IAM Identity Center, and SOC 2 evidence workflows.
• Run access management tooling: Okta SSO/SAML, SCIM, VPN access automation.
• Develop internal tooling and dashboards, including chat-bots and Bedrock-backed tools.
• Enhance CI/CD workflows and deployment safety with gating and previews.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production infrastructure.
