Job summary
BURGEON IT SERVICES LLC in Englewood, CO is seeking an experienced AWS Data Platform Engineer to design and build cloud-based data platforms and data pipelines on AWS.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with AWS S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda and Spark/PySpark, with strong Python and SQL skills, data modeling, and scalable solution delivery.
This 12-month contract offers a hybrid/onsite arrangement for local candidates.
Qualifications
- Experience designing cloud-based data platforms on AWS.
- Proficient in Python and SQL for data processing.
- Skilled in ETL/ELT and data pipeline development.
- Hands-on with Apache Spark / PySpark.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing.
- Experience with AWS cloud data platform architecture.
- Ability to build scalable, reliable data solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Local to Englewood/Denver and available for hybrid/onsite work.
