Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Lake and Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to guide healthcare and life sciences customers in designing scalable data lake, analytics, and AI-ready architectures on AWS.

You will engage with account teams to lead technical discussions on data platforms and reference architectures, ensuring solutions meet business goals and compliance needs. You will collaborate with senior SAs and service teams to own design and delivery for assigned customers,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or solutions architecture
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with data lake, data warehouse, or analytics platforms
• Experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS or comparable cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and analytics architectures
• Familiarity with healthcare or life sciences data domains is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of technical solutions for assigned customers ensuring architectures are sound, scalable, and aligned with business goals
• Contribute to development and delivery of technical content including whitepapers, reference architectures, and workshop materials
• Identify gaps in AWS products and services based on customer engagements and provide actionable feedback to service teams
• Build strong relationships with customer technical teams and earn trust through consistent delivery and technical credibility
• Collaborate across SA organizations to share knowledge and contribute to the broader data lake and analytics community
