Job summary

Amazon seeks a Data Center Project Manager to lead cross-discipline efforts within AWS data centers in Sterling, VA. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural work streams, driving timely delivery, safety, and cost optimization.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in data center project management, with strong grasp of power systems, engineering docs, and building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects across electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines.
• Identify areas for improvement based on data from other teams and organizations and act on them.
• Ensure project scope aligns with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
