Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services seeks a Senior Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects, blending technical credibility with strong program leadership to drive customer outcomes.

You will apply AWS Well-Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework, translate business needs into technical requirements, and guide teams through migration, architecture decisions, and governance to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud computing experience.
• 5+ years of leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale.
• 5+ years of leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Knowledge of the value proposition of public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
• Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
• Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards.
